My Mission & Values

As a Methodist preacher on trial, shaped by both Methodist and URC traditions, I’m building this site slowly and honestly. I can’t promise a perfect rhythm or polished structure — only a growing space where faith can be explored, resources can be shared, and God’s love can be glimpsed in the journey. My mission is to offer a place where people can pause, reflect, and discover something of God’s presence in everyday life.

Openness to Exploration

Faith is a journey, not a finished map. This site welcomes questions, curiosity, and the freedom to explore God’s love from different angles and experiences.

Honesty and Humility

I’m learning as I go — in ministry, in study, and in life. This space reflects that reality: imperfect, growing in fits and starts, and grounded in authenticity rather than polish.

I work as an energy manager, driven by a desire to tackle climate change in practical ways. I’m a husband, dad, and grandad, and after two decades in Scouting I still find peace and joy on the water in my Canadian canoe.
